Spain

General Information

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Kingdom of Spain were established in January 1992.

On 11 June 2013, Jose Ignacio Carbajal Garate, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to the Republic of Armenia (residence in Moscow), presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan.

In February 2007 Eduard Khojayan was appointed Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Spain in Armenia.

On 1st June 2013, Armine Adamyan was appointed Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Spain in Yerevan.

On 5 August 2014, Avet Adonts was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Kingdom of Spain.
