The Recognition of the Armenian Genocide by Valencia

On June 9th the Council of Local Government of Valencia adopted a motion about the recognition and the condemnation of the Armenian Genocide. The Compromís, València en Comú and Socialist municipal groups voted for the motion submitted by the Armenian Association “Ararat” about the recognition of the Armenian Genocide, thus condemning the first Genocide of the XX century and calling upon the Valencian Parliament, the Government of Spain and Turkey to follow her example.
